High 5 Club Festive Fun

Have you any children aged 3-10 with eczema?

Would you like to help children with eczema across the UK to connect with each other?

If so, you can help by contributing a short video clip that we can add to our special festive video to share with our High 5 Club members.

The first winners of the H5C competition to design a thank you card for EOS to send to people that help us have been chosen.
The judges had a hard time selecting a winner from the amazing entrants but in the end Esma was chosen as the winner in the age 7-10 category and Daisy in the 3-6 category. Well done!

Read along to The Itchy-saurus with author Rosie Wellesley!

Author and illustrator of The Itchy-saurus Rosie Wellesley read her book about a dinosaur with very sore eczema for EOS. Many H5C members will be familiar with this book as it comes in some welcome packs. If you haven’t got a copy, it’s a great read for little ones with eczema to understand how their skin feels and what can help.

2019/20 H5C challenge winners!

The H5C competition entrants were so strong this year, that we couldn’t chose a winner – so we chose two! Olivia (4) and Finlay (9) were picked as the winners of the contest to decorate their emollient tubs. The judges loved the creative flare of both designs and the children will receive £20 vouchers for their hard work. The next H5C challenge will be announced shortly, via postcards in the post and we will post the details on social media too.

H5C Glasgow event

H5C members enjoyed a yoga session and craft activities at an event in Glasgow in February 2020.

Members took part in stretching and yoga with an instructor and made their own shield to take home.

Everyone had a great time and we are looking forward to meeting more H5C members at our next event in Belfast in June 13, 2020.

Abi’s school workshop!

Abi had an eczema school workshop recently and she even did her own presentation to the class about her eczema!   Her school were so impressed they celebrated her achievement at school assembly.  Well done Abi!

Spinning plates and learning about our skin!

If you came to our family event at the Glasgow Science Centre you’ll have had a chance to try your hand at circus skills.  It was great fun!  We also had lots of fun activities about eczema and how your creams help.  We hope to see you at one of our events soon!
