World Atopic Eczema Day 2020  is September 14th and EOS is excited to mark the global awareness campaign once again.

The campaign, backed by GlobalSkin aims to increase awareness of the condition and improve understanding of eczema.

EOS has lots planned to mark the day – keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels – but there are ways you can honour the day too.

From simply sharing some posts from EOS or World Atopic Eczema Day on your social media channels to carrying out fundraising activities.

A huge part of the awareness day is just that – raising awareness. If you could share social media posts from EOS or World Atopic Eczema Day this would help spread the message. Perhaps you could mention the awareness day or how eczema can impact lives to family and friends and encourage them to share the posts too.

If you would like to help even more, you could arrange a fundraiser for EOS on September 14th. While COVID-19 has reduced how many people you can meet at one time, you could hold a virtual fundraiser over Facebook, Zoom or Teams and host a coffee morning, exercise class or silent auction.

If you are feeling energetic, you could ask family and friends to sponsor you or your child on World Atopic Eczema Day to do a fun run, long walk or get creative and try a keepy-uppy challenge or hour long hula hoop. Facebook fundraisers are easy to set up, make it quick for people to sponsor you and every penny raised will go to EOS.

If you would like to fundraise, contact our fundraising officer Kirsty at kirsty@eos.org.uk for advice, support and fundraising materials.

Please support EOS and join us in marking this global campaign to improve awareness and understanding of eczema.
